Zachary Deane trading as Venzio (ABN 86 393 751 207) ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information, following the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Prospects and clients: your name, business name, email, phone, and address, and notes about our conversations and work together.
- Messages: conversations you have with us through the client portal or, if you choose, WhatsApp, including your mobile number and consent to WhatsApp alerts.
- Project records: the details needed to build and support your site, such as opening hours, prices, photos, and the status of your accounts.
- Domain and email account details: if you take our domain or email management service, the account details needed to administer them (for example registrar and DNS provider, and email addresses and aliases) — never your account passwords, which stay yours.
- Website visitors: basic technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) if we use analytics.
We do not collect card numbers. Payments to us are handled by Stripe, or by direct bank transfer.
How we use it
- To reply to enquiries, prepare quotes, and deliver and support your site.
- To manage your domain and email accounts, where you've asked us to.
- To invoice you and keep required business records.
- To contact you about our services where you have agreed or the law allows. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the business and deliver your project, for example:
- Supabase (our database and login provider)
- GitHub (code storage)
- Vercel (hosting, for sites we host on your behalf)
- Stripe (payments, on your own account)
- Uber Direct (delivery, on your own account)
- Twilio (SMS alerts, where that add-on is used)
- Resend (transactional email delivery)
- Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Meta (analytics, only where you've asked for it)
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform), if you choose to chat with us on WhatsApp
They are listed in full, with what each one holds and whose account it runs under, in our Subprocessor List, available on request. We do not sell personal information.
Overseas storage
Some providers store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure providers protect information to a similar standard.
Security and retention
We use multi-factor authentication, access controls, and encrypted connections. We keep client records for as long as needed and at least the period the law requires for business and tax records, then delete or de-identify them.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you. Email zacharydeane1@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we handled a privacy issue, contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
